About Me

Hi, I'm Shaun, and I'm your Tripbod in Oz!

I started off life working in corporate training and IT project management before falling into tourism. I have a passion for travelling, so when an opportunity came up to work for whl.travel a few years ago, I jumped at it.

This is where I came across Tripbod, and loved the concept because I know first hand what a difference it makes when you have that insider local knowledge to help you really discover and explore aspects of a destination...and especially its people and culture.

With Tripbod, I now have the chance to now be that local, and help other travellers experience my country. I also work for Urban Adventures, a new business aimed at bringing local experiential day tours to a global audience. I am also starting a local day tour business in Brisbane, Australia....and becoming the local Urban Adventures operator.
