About Me
I was born and raised on the very south coast of Sweden, in the town of Ystad, currently very popular due to the novels about the policeman Kurt Wallander.
I have lived in Stockholm for five years and though I miss the open sea from the south of Sweden, Stockholm and the rest of Sweden has lots to offer its visitors.
I've worked in the tourism industry for over five years, with a strong focus on sustainable Responsible Tourism and I'm also an active member of the Swedish Ecotourism Society.
I'm currently running my own business Fair Travel, that does lectures on RT and offers representation for foreign RT companies in Scandinavia.
Travelling is a pure pleasure and I've done it for so many years. I guess the worst part of travelling is getting stuck in places that are too touristy. You want to go beyond that and to meet the locals.
This is where I think Tripbod is a fantastic tool to use and I'd like to help out in sharing the best of Sweden that I know of.
I've travelled quite a lot around the world, but for Tripbod I want to tell you about what you can and should do while in Sweden.
One shouldn't miss the beautiful Österlen, Skåne in the south of Sweden. Few places in the world can add up to what it has to offer.
Stockholm, the capital of Sweden, and probably one of the most beautiful capitals of the world. It's located in an archipelago, all situated on many small islets.
Stockholm is growing, but it is still a small and very pleasant city that has lots to offer. Alot can be reached by foot and there are lots to do.
Stockholm has its beautiful old castle, the old parts of the city and the not to be missed, outdoor museum of Skansen. But it has so much more to offer.
